We’re working to answer the question of what a 21st-century orchestra can be, guided by initiatives in music as healing, music, technology, and the arts, strengthening the professional musician pipeline, and expanding community outreach—deepening how we create, connect, and serve across Johns Creek and beyond.

Music as Healing

Music as healing is a core part of how we engage with the community—using live orchestral performance to support emotional well-being, reduce stress, and create space for reflection and connection. Through thoughtfully curated programs, we aim to make music not just something to experience, but something that restores and sustains.

Music, Technology, and Arts

We explore the intersection of music, technology, and the arts through innovative performances and educational experiences. From immersive concerts to creative collaborations with students and artists, JCSO examines how orchestral music can evolve in a digital and interdisciplinary world while staying rooted in artistic tradition.

Community Outreach

Education and community outreach expands the orchestra’s role beyond the concert hall by bringing music directly into schools, neighborhoods, and shared community spaces. Through performances, partnerships, and hands-on learning experiences, we connect with students, families, and audiences of all ages—fostering curiosity, access, and a lifelong connection to music across Johns Creek and beyond.
