Soundcraft Symphonic Experience

In November, the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra launches the Soundcraft Symphonic Experience, a groundbreaking concert where music, technology, and creativity come together in real time.

Inspired by Terry Riley’s In C, this immersive event brings together student musicians, digital creators, and professional artists to explore how orchestral music can be built and experienced in new ways. In partnership with Georgia Tech, the Fulton County Futures Lab, and creator jazziiRed, students help design an interactive Minecraft world that responds live to the orchestra.

The result is a one-of-a-kind performance where the digital environment evolves with the music, and students perform both on stage and inside the virtual world—reimagining what it means to create and experience symphonic music together.
