Dave Cook is a financial advisor and partner with Edward Jones, opening his first office in Duluth, in 1995. He continues to serve that community today. Cook has been an active member of the city of Duluth, Gwinnett County and surrounding area business and civic communities:
- Past President and Board Member, Duluth Merchants Association
- 2000 Graduate of Leadership Gwinnett and current member of the Management Team
- Past Chairman, Duluth Development Authority
- Past Member, Professional Advisors Board of the Gwinnett Foundation (Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia)
- Past Chairman, Prince of Peace Catholic Church Building Committee
- Past member Duluth Kiwanis
- Past President, Collins Hill High School Band Boosters
- Guest presenter for GCPS Foundation on proper non-profit formation
- Member of the Board, Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra
In addition to his civic involvement, Cook has been equally active in supporting the Edward Jones organization as Mentor, Success Coach, member of Hiring Team, and currently as Performance Leader. Prior to joining Edward Jones, Cook spent 14 years with FORTUNE 150, AMP, Incorporated and held a number of management positions. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1980. Cook is Series 7 and 63 licensed and currently holds the AAMS® and CRPC® designations from the College for Financial Planning.
Dave is married to Christa, his wife of 30 years. They have a son, Daniel, a high school teacher and Band Director at Deland High School in Deland, Florida.
